In 2020, when the world has experienced a pandemic situation due to outbreak of a Novel Corona Virus (being called COVID-19), Afghanistan also has been affected by COVID-19 pandemic. The economic situation has been affected negatively and violence against women and girls (VAWG) has been doubled in the context of COVID-19, as movement is restricted, people are confined, poverty and unemployment has reached to its peak, as well as protection and health systems are weak.
- Conducted community awareness sessions on COVID 19 pandemic and management of situation during pandemic for a total of 1400 (756 female and 644 male), the awareness raising session participants also received the hygiene toolkit (sanitizer, masks, gloves, Dettol) as preventive measures during the COVID-19 crisis.
- Provision of Personal Protection Equipment- PPE Toolkit (i.e.Sanitizer, Masks, Gloves, Dettol, Bleach, Soup and Washing Powder) to LSO project beneficiaries (Women Protection Center and local communities) including women and girls survivor of voilence, local communities and business groups,

- A total of 5,000 Brochures and 10,000 posters on prevention of COVID-19 spread published and distributed in pictorial campaign and community outreach sessions to improve awareness of communities on protective measures against corona virus (COVID-19) at community level.
